I don't have this problem with scip why can't we all be a bit more european (french dont count)

Have you seen antigravity's tier list and trump's new neutral commons list Wave? I think reviewing those and reading the justifications has shored up some of my weaknesses in the drafting stage which honestly is the most important part I'd say for getting past breakeven. If it's still a struggle then you're just making misplays which is harder to advise without watching

I know in theory which cards are good and bad though (though I know some of this changes with the patch), I've watched a lot of Trump/Kripp stream.
That's why I'm having trouble identifying where I'm going wrong exactly. I'm thinking it's more not knowing when to pick certain non-optimal cards over the better ones (ie mana curve), synergies, etc.

I mean I'm not one to really advise, I'd say my average is 5 wins. Usually I know when I screwed up in the game. Sometimes your deck just sucks and that's the nature of it. I think the most useful thing to get feedback forum wise would be posting your draft with all 3 picks for each 30 sets like some people do in the "What would you pick?" thread.

i havent done nearly as well with other picks even though I don't play paladin in constructed

I think that's actually a fair point, my arena win rate with pally is probably the highest (excluding rogue outlier that I've picked once and went 8-3 lol)

Biggest problems:
Mana curves - sometimes due to how the draft plays out you get wonky mana curves. Often times you need to sacrifice the stronger pick for your curve. To properly judge this you just need to look at your cards you picked and see what your deck is good at. Like if you drafted a superlategame deck, try looking for cards that will allow you to get there.
Think over your plays. A lot of times you go for the obvious play only to be countered. You can't help that the opponent might have 4 consecrates, but you can do your best to play around it. Think of the average situation and what your opponent might have (mind control tech, flamestrike, etc)
Don't get yourself down because you lost to a misplay. Everyone makes mistakes. Even kripp sometimes goes 3-3 in arena. Bad luck happens...you might go against someone with 4 flamestrikes. Don't worry much about it and move on. Dwelling on it can mess with your plays.
