It's weird.
Supposedly it's illegal to not use seatbelts in buses, but some of the oldest ones still don't have seatbelts. Most do, however.

If you're talking about city shuttle buses, then you're right. Most don't, and a large majority people stand and hold onto the handles/poles. But from what I learned Europe doesn't use the types of shuttle buses we do unless my German teacher has been lying to me all of high school. Which is probably true lol. But the majority of buses aren't merely shuttle buses (travel buses, school buses, etc all have seat belts)

In czech republic almost no buses have seatbelts. Thinking about it, I think that only buses owned by private companies do.

I'm not sure I've ever even seen a bus that had seat belts.

it's not even the fact that buses have seatbelts, but really - who actually uses them on a bus?

Okay now that I can actually play hearthstone, I'm hooked. Dicking around with a random silly Paladin deck I made. Opponent thinks he's in control so doesn't kill my 1/1 Silver Hand Recruit. Next turn: Blessing of kings + blessing of might + blessed champion to make it a 16 attack monster that 1 shots him (he had 12 life left). That's just silly.

Did a 180° on a roundabout this morning, thanksfully no collision. Friggin' ice, and I was already late for work thaks to that damn fridge. Hmpf.
Didn't see seatbelts in city or school buses either in France, not even in the ones rented for school trips across the country.

where do French kids go for field trips?
|
In the Pyrenees, mountains at the border between France and Spain (we went from Britanny, so in the trianglepopping in the sea in the north-west).

Buses have a center of gravity and mass high enough that they do not require seatbelts by law. I believe this is correct.
There was tons of ice this morning, but no snow =(

Pretty sure that if you are in a car accident and hit a bus, maybe 2-3 will be slighty injured (worst case they might break a bone or two) and you will die.
