So if any parts are broken can't RMA it. replaced mobo, still won't post. probably RAM/CPU problem now, | ||

Only one problem was attaching some of the wires so the mobo could get power. Positive/Negative weren't labeled at all so we had to guess which one was which. We guessed wrong the first time so we had to pull out the graphics card so we could switch it around on the mobo. After that everything but my internet adapter installed just fine. My adapter I had was like over 10 years old and it wouldn't recognize the driver software, so had to get a new one. But all in all the total build cost ~$950 and took 6 hours due to us needing to drive to the store once and over to my friends house because he forgot some software lol. Would have taken about 4.5 hours otherwise. Thanks for all your help btw  | ||

the funniest part is, my friend is a computer engineering major. like, i know you don't really learn any IT shit, but you'd think you'd take some interest in your field and learn how to build a fucking computer first. >.> | ||
