Bane farms heroes, doesn't matter that he can't 'farm' in the traditional sense. Plus once he gets Dagon 1(if that's the build you're going with, for funsies on a pub or w/e) he's pretty much guaranteed a kill on Grip cooldown.
The reason it's silly is because if used properly, he's already pretty much guaranteed a kill on Grip cooldown...

Yes. It's worth it to have the flexibility to play whoever you want and the new gods as well. Also frees up your Favor for skins on gods you like.
$30 is significantly cheaper than what you'd spend on any other non-free game, or free game as well, as most LoL players will tell you.
