I mean like it's crazy the range of people on here. Some are the stereotype of pocket protector nerd where women are like some mythical bird or some shit and others are the jock types that any normal human in high school wanted to kick their ass because they all see women as a piece of meat. the build looks solid though i dont have much experience with the graphics card, i went with a pretty similar setup when i built my comp a year and a half ago make sure you're not being bottlenecked either by GPU or CPU so you dont waste money on underutilized performance personally skeptical about MSI gpus but that could just be unfounded - everyone has their own brand/parts that they like to avoid for all i know the card is great "P | ||

Without going to read it myself(because I won't) it sounds like a meeting ground for the people who really drink in the messages from blogs about female solipsism and hypergamy. I've had some interesting conversations about it, but there are people who take it to an extreme, and also a ton of dudes that aren't aware of the hypocrisy of their actions in reaction to the discussion. Then there's also dudes who just use it as an excuse to hide from insecurities and character flaws, because hey, they pickup any woman they want! | ||

Maybe you have it as part of some bundle though, but I usually go with cheepest price/performance after figuring out my minimum performance threshold | ||

The 270 is the successor to 7850, but even the 270 still out performs 7870 in some games as well. the new r9 series are a nice price/performance update. | ||

Looks like I was mistaken on the 7850 replacement. You're right that they 270x is specced out to be competitive with 7870 GHz. But I picked up a 7950 a few months ago for $200 so spending $230 on a 7870/660 competitor is questionable for price/performance. Also, http://i.imgur.com/krz55uT.png has a Z77 motherboard without a K processor. I guess you keep the ability to drop a K in there at some point but by the time you upgrade intel will probably have yet another generation of processors. If you're not going to overclock you might as well get a H77 mobo and save money | ||

Though I wouldn't consider it a "real" 7950. The greatest trait of the 7950 was that a huge chunk of them were binned 7970's. So with a lot of them you could oc them near the oc level of 7970's but save like 150 bucks. The sapphire 7950 that was on sale were pretty much binned 7950's and were voltage locked. That means no ocing available | ||

It doesn't really matter because I don't think overclocking is part of the scope for this build. I forgot that H77 only runs 1x16 and can't 2x8 | ||
