Mussorgsky done by a German metal band is actually quite impressive.

temperature wise where I am it gets up to like 117-120 once or twice a year and is usually in the hundreds in the summer (this is Fahrenheit obv)

I find cold to be a bit easier to handle when it's above double digit negatives. Heat you can't really do anything about while leaving pools wherever you rest. Cold gets worse when it's at the stage of any exposed skin feeling like hell. That could be mainly wind though, I'm not that used to more than like -5 and even then it's generally above 5C

A typical annual range here is 0-20 C, which is wonderful.

Kyoto is like 40 C in august though and that took some serious getting used to. Air conditioning kept the room down to 27 C but I was laying practically dead in underwear and an unbelted yukata with no blankets. Then I came back here and it was 12 C when I landed, and I was cold for like 5 months.

that sounds lovely is that southern west coast canada?

Yeah, a suburb of Vancouver. Rains a lot, though.

Metal covers of classical music are pretty much all garbage.

I don't know this ones pretty good I think. but then again it's just my opinion. of course I guess it all comes down to how much you actually want to listen to pictures at an exhibition done with guitars

also at vance does a pretty respectful version of beethoven's 5th symphony.

those are the only two I can think of off my head that I actually like however. 99 percent of them are terrible I'll give you that however

As much as this makes me laugh wholeheartedly, he's kinda right.
And yeah fuck S. Ontario weather. Range of usually -30 --> +40 if going to extremes. An average year is more like -20 --> +35.

I must confess that if Alaric's posts are longer than about a paragraph I don't read them.

Is my travelogue the longest post in OT? I'd enjoy that.

I'm pretty much certain MoonBear's detailed post about Pokemon music is still the longest.

yeah wave but at least we don't get the extreme cold and snowfall of the east coat. although they don't have to deal with our heatwaves.

people insulting music always reminds me of the "indie" kids in highschool saying stuff like "all rap sucks"

changing my goal weight to 180... no excuses. already lost ~10lbs. cheeseless/sourcreamless burrito bowls arn't actually that bad and my knees don't hurt after a skipping session anymore. posting to hold myself responsible to continue this progression.

Try 37 to 41, with 100% humidity 30-45 days out of the summer. Currently we have entered the space where heat is just a thing and rain doesn't happen (Luckily).

Edit;

Fallout 4 looks pretty

Patiently waiting for Asmo to come in here freaking out that it takes place in Boston.

They hinted it would be based in Boston like 6 months ago.

Why is Hearthstone wizard poker but MTG isn't?

MTG is Wizard Bridge. Way more complicated.
