One day I'll make a MoonBear Pokemon-music post about Touhou, and it'll be twice the length because of so many more links, and then twice that again because I don't know concision and the subjectivity + my lack of technical knowledge makes it even worse when we're talking music.
And noone will read it because either they already know all the links or they'll think "I'm not spending 4 hours listening to all that I'll have forgotten what the first ones sounded like before I'm done".
I prefer SA because I find it more evocative than IN, but I get how the different themes (I mean the ones covered/poured into the music, not the musical themes) can make people prefer IN or PCB. UFO isn't bad either and it has some pretty good tunes (they certainly do their job, see Muramasa's stage and theme) but they aren't on the same level strength-wise. Heian Alien really hits the park when it comes to clueing the listener to Nue's "nature" and it's a big plus for it though (I'm biased because of the diversity of arranges it has and how they all retain that tingling creepiness). Shoot the Bullet has some really good stuff but it's less coherent across the board, and it's designed to be looped even more so it doesn't necessarily work as well. EoSD and before make it harder to, uh, "sell" to people because the sound quality is generally worse so without using arranges (and context) people don't get hooked or are outright repulsed in my experience. I still really like things like Medicine's theme's melody, the basis for Strawberry Crisis, or how Plastic Mind pretty much establishes Alice's themes as eerie, unnatural tunes to match her nature.
Haven't listened to all of PoFV (nor played it), same with DDC and the 13th. The latter has some really good arranges but apparently the original don't hold up to it.
Cixah, the last fighter spin-off parodies elections and how people just hold public image contests over ideas to sway the votes, moe or not you should try it (also Brofist Unzan is all but moe).

Is that a challenge?! You dare insult my glorious trueborne glory?! I have you know that while you where still learning how to log into windows I was being trained to Sim pilot 50 foot tall vertical tank robots! I who have had the divine pleasure of using actual simulator pods find your insinuation that I am some sort of peasant who feeds off of the teat of Sony and it's xbox live near heretical.
In the words of the greatest xcom commander to grace this thread. Fite me bambi.
