Only times I've really be 100-0 in Dota is if a fed PA goes on me as some super squishy support and gets a huge crit. In league people just die SO fast on average compared to Dota I feel.I think Yango talked about this due to the scaling stats league has with arpen/crit/ad/as thus damage gets exponentially bigger or something. | ||

The best way I can describe it is, League you die faster, but damage seems more dodgeable/avoidable. Dota, die a lot slower, but it feels like there are very little chance to escape. More inevitable. Of course I'm a fucking total scrublord at Dota, so whatever I have to say on the subject is probably wrong. | ||

It's actually just this: What if someone made a super polished "moba" mod in the wc3 engine and there were different maps with different objectives. That's all there is to it and if you queue up expecting that it's totally fine. Granted it's "f2p" and your restricted on what heroes you can play but if you're planning on randomly goofing off with friends occasionally it's not like you'll play enough games to feel like you're bored of the heroes on free rotation. | ||

There are obviously ways to avoid damage that scrublords don't know about like ghost scepter and force staff that makes the squishies really hard to kill with good positioning. Also stuff like just tping out in the middle of 4 people can't be done in LoL. | ||

That's probably a bit of hyperbole in the other direction(especially with the in-vogue status of mid Lina and Eul's SF and Phase-MoM Jugg and such). I feel like the games are fairly equal when it all comes down to it. Both have heroes/champs that feel like they take forever to kill(and are absolute 'nope' targets if you're reliant on front-end burst), and both have burst champs that wipe anyone under certain hp values off the map with no recourse. | ||
