They give you good settings, lot of options on how to play, and don't ask you to be the iconic hero of prophecy unless you want to. If Arcanum/PST are your benchmarks, I'd expect you to be disappointed quite often.

I'm inclined to agree with this, but you don't get gainz from bodyweight training. Depends on what you're looking for.

Plus I paid for my membership so I'm fiscally invested in going as many times as possible. Also I'm in college so I can never really truly escape "basic bitches and the annoying 'bro' crowd."

I mean yeah but silence of the lambs covers making people bits into things pretty well. I guess AHS season 2 does it pretty well as well.

1. Fighting is exploit heavy on hard. Smoke really fucks with AI. 2. The is no grinding available so you need to do all quests before progressing or you will be under leveled fucking with RNG hitting. According to steam i have 37 on it so its a fun game.

Yeah, no grinding is tough, and the first town can kinda suck, but it's fun the first time around, so I wouldn't mind suffering through it while Parnage learns. I really like how customizable character creation is, there are still tons of things for me to try.

Been close to half a year since I moved to the US and still can't really feel comfortable here. No language barrier since I can read write and speak English fluently, but getting used to how Americans converse, interact and social norms is harder than I expected.

Rain is so op :D I mean yeh, you're kind of scripted into doing all the quests and the freedom is limited in that regard but it's a good story and the quests themselves are pretty fun to do so I wasn't particularly bothered by it. If you were looking for something more open ended like skyrim it wouldn't really be this. KOTOR is the best comparison imo.

I mean, I don't disagree, I just would never go into Divinity expecting PST or Arcanum, though that's also because I've played Divine Divinity, so I have some idea of what kind of game to expect from the series. I haven't played it yet, though while I expect it's good, it's probably not Black-Isle-golden-age-good, but I have no clue why you'd ever expect that. You don't go into games expecting them to be that good, because that just sets you up to be disappointed (see SC2). They're more like exploration games with ham-fisted RPG mechanics tacked on top.

I've never seen ahs;I hear it's good. As far as disturbing shows go, I won't watch sons of anarchy with my wife because it's literally violence gore and rape just for the hell of it on that show, but even worse is probably criminal minds. The shit the writers come up with for serial killers to do on that show actually made me stop watching it. I mean I love a good horror/gore movie (SoA took its dealings with it too seriously when the action was far from, so I was less disturbed by it and more 'this is just stupid') but some of that criminal minds stuff is so truly disturbing and worst of all plausible.
