Actually the fact that you didn't read the jihad trilogy changes things just a little. I read those books before Sandoworms came out and I knew immediately what they were going to do with it, so I was angry already starting the book. On its own the jihad trilogy (if you forget they deliberately attempt to link it with the main series) is OK, just a mediocre piece of SF. I read a review after the original 'discussion' we had that sums up my feelings perfectly but I doubt I'd be able to find it again. | ||
