See I think part of my issue with understanding the game on a higher level is I'm basically thinking with only limited in mind. Constructed requires a VERY different mindset---for example I never considered the positive effects of Singing Bell Strike, I've only ever considered it removal. | ||

A kingdom (similar to Helm's Deep) is under siege from an undead army led by a white dragon. The king and his adviser wizard sent us to a mountain to obtain a White Dragon Orb from a mountain (there are several of these orbs, each one used to defeat chromatic dragons. Me and my adventuring companion are a bit sketched out by how adamant the wizard was that we bring the orb right back to him so he could get attuned with it. We obtain it (quite an adventure itself) and return. We meet with the wizard and he asks for the orb so he can get attuned and use it to slay the dragon. We disagree and request that we work together and that he teach us to be attuned with it. The group of us go to discuss this with the King. King is like "hmm, yeah, that seems ok. Wizard, can you teach them?" Wizard's like "yeah, sure", walks over to me, and tries to Command me to give the orb to him, but I resisted. This mother fucker messed up right here. (Info - our DM had given my adventuring partner a Rust Bag of Tricks, and we managed to get two brown bears with it. We convinced the guards to let the bears follow us, as they had assisted in obtaining the orb, and we were able to prove they were entirely docile) The two of us + the two bears fucked up the wizard and the handful of guards, but the King escaped. The keep happened to be sitting on the water's edge, and so we repelled out the chamber window, and we're now on rocky terrain with the city behind us and the ocean in front. And we were totally going to cooperate with them too... | ||

I fucking hate the community since I was the only reason we didn't get stomped in 45 minutes... I did learn that Tinker is capable of holding off mega creeps, barely, for a good 80 seconds without help, march+rearms good skills. | ||

Can't you just mute your teammates in dota2(who aren't your friends) if they are raging like that? Solo queue/duo queue can be really toxic in games like DotA/LoL/any game that involves more than one person really. Learn to mute players. It will save you from frustration. Also, the best way to play is with a group of 5 in either game. The problem is that it will just spoil you, and you'll hate solo queue even more. | ||
