Beyonder is essentially more powerful than any other character. though he doesn't really have any interest in using his power for anything other than entertainment. he's mostly an observer because he can get anything he wants anytime he wants so why bother.

I think my favorite thing about Worm is the way the powers feel well defined.
In comics a lot of the time the powers sort of balloon out of control. Not helped by the wide variety of different writers.

the best comic characters are the ones who are limited. the best heroes the ones whose powers are single minded, but even a hero with near unlimited power can be a great character because his character is flawed. like Dr Strange, he's a very flawed man, with near inexhaustible power.

I always liked superman because he's effectively a God trying to be man. He's a character that is so easily done wrong especially when they just write him off as an overpowered free win button (Which they react by making his villains more progressively stupid). Arcs like all-star superman should be mandatory reading before anyone write a single superman story because it's a near perfect representation of superman.
