Then again honestly I've just lazily shut myself off from any form entertainment but digitalsports so any time I actually go beyond it I'm pleasantly surprised. I think kill la kill is literally the last thing I've seen based off hype, every other game I've purchased or anime/film/TV show for the most part were impulse driven.

Which, I mean, you can not like a movie, but I don't think a movie being worse than expected is a reason to dislike it more. While I agree with you I didn't really like the statement about GotG. I enjoyed it but felt a lot of it was a bit off and could have been a lot better if they worked on those aspects a bit. Actually thinking about it now pretty much all Marvel movies have had shit "villains". Ironman movies are pretty much the first being remade slightly differently. Avengers didn't even have a villain. Thor had terrible villains in both his movies, so much so that Loki comes across more as someone to root for than against. Capt 2 while having a good commentary on society and cool villain had to use some rather questionable plot pieces to move it along. GotG had terrible villain who helps ruin the fun for me. Feel Marvel sacrifices a lot of characterization for humor/action. No one else seems to care though so guess they won't change. Wonder when we'll start making jokes about their formula like how Michael Bay gets ridiculed when they eerily similar

I assume the weapon is there to prevent you from playing SoJ then that card (if all the effects happen at once then the weapon replaces SoJ before it's used, although I've never tried a battlecry minion with SoJ to check if the summoning is completed first or if the buff is applied as soon as the minion appears, then other effects resolved). Otherwise it's 6 mana for 3 2-2 and a 1-4 weapon so I guess it could be stronger but... still if you manage to pull that off on turn 3 with the coin it's scary.

I do think that Marvel does a good job characterising the heroes but they get multiple films to be fleshed out while villains tend to be one shot. I suppose Red Skull wasn't characterised any better than other villains but by god this Hugo Weaving kill it in his role.

Interstellar was fun but it was a little long and there were some boring parts. It's not the new scifi masterpiece that they're trying to tout it as.

If it's anything like other token makers in HS, they will be made before the 1/4 weapon comes in. HOPEFULLY that's the case, but I could see reasons to nuke it before it gets too big.

I actually really like it but it has to be fleshed out. In Thor 1 basically Odin is a huge evil dick and Thor doesn't give a fuck yet the whole story is framed in a way that Thor looks like a good guy. It doesn't bother with exploring morality because that's not what the movie is about yet it has a "villain" like Loki. If Loki was in another movie than I'd think he would be a great character but he just doesn't fit as an antagonist for a brain dead action movie. Of the recent things I watched the whole Chimera arc of HxH is absolutely fantastic because it does a reversal of this where the antagonists become more humane than the protagonists. Makes it one of my favourite pieces of media in recent times but it takes a very long time characterizing and dealing with these characters. You don't find many game studios that can really give their games that character. Everyone in OT needs to buy this game even if they don't play. This studio deserves your money.

It was definitely one of the weakers Marvel movies for me imo. The fight choreography was terrible, characters were insanely one-dimensional (not like this is anything new in the comic universe, but they were laughably archetypal even by comic book standards). The climax was well... anti climatic. The move had fun bits in it, but it overall it just wasn't very good.

And why isn't Thor just a solo guy, it's not like he needs the others to decimate an army of goons. Especially not useless lackeys like Black Widow or Hawkeye. At least Hulk/Iron Man have power and/or intelligence.

All this talk about keyboard playing makes me want to give it a shot later. On November 20 2014 03:49 PrinceXizor wrote: she goes a little overboard yeah. but horace is drawn so great. Big band is the best character though if for nothing else but I might pick up Big Band as my 2nd, parrying hard tho. ALlo I'll be tempted to do his taunt constantly like i am with Eliza. ELiza's story mode is actually probably one of the best ones overall, though to be fair a lot of them are really REALLY good. Painwheel's comes to mind I think. The overall tone of the game is actually extremely dark and I love it. Cerebella's story mode begins with the BEST FUCKING BEST MUSIC in the entire game.New character info here in this video - Beowulf. Comic book stuff is really fun and interesting...wonder why I never really got into it tbh. And yes, I can't stop fawning over Skullgirls. I fawned over it when it came out forever ago but never bought it/never discussed it because nobody else was interested. Again, don't recommend games and stuff very often but I absolutely 100% recommend this game even to non-fighting-game players, same as I recommend Isaac.
