Yea I started tagging all the people I actually know on my friends list even if they don't change names all the time like others. I deleted a school friend because I thought they were a random and only found out months later when I saw him in a CSGO game.

I know I'm Software Support. That's my job, it's what I do.

But when you deploy code that doesn't work and we get 15-20 support requests per day because the functionality you were supposed to implement doesn't frcking work, maybe you should be the one doing the support. I literally can't learn ad fix your code fast enough to help anyone.

Not sure why you get this kind of shit, because here we get support tickets reassigned to us all the time.

That doesn't fly here 9/10, my boss will straight up do the instant software shield of "The logs suggest that they're is a physical issue please replace." and then we don't have to look at it because it usually just gets fixed. Spend Money fix issue.

SO like.

and you don't need yeast for everything.

i can make most sweet baked goods, i just can't make breads.

skullgirls have designated blood types? O_o

what's parasoul's lol

I think it's a throwback to a lot of other fighters/ff games where character bios were unnecessarily detailed.

And no soniv tried the catgirl, couldn't figure out how to reattach her head and I just kicked it to death.

My character has a cat, and boobs, but not at the same time.

I should pick up another character for tonight. Gotta figure out who I like.

Aren't blood types a lot like horoscopes in east asia? its a cultural thing that blood types have similar personality traits like how people believe similar astrological signs do.

I'm not sure about the others, but I know Japan has/had that belief.

Same here pretty much. The person who breaks it is almost always the person who fixes it.

Should be a lesson to all developers out there: develop test-first and your code will be clear, documented, and not shitty.

You are assuming people care about it being not shitty rather than just pushing it out there with as little effort as possible.

TBH believing blood type has some connection to your personality makes much more sense than the arrangement of the stars at the time of your birth.

But why do that when I can have the customer test it for me! /s

That has happened to me by the way. Back in march we rolled out new customer facing software that was never tested. It was glorious to see the aftermath of that meeting.

I like to code without comments, on one long line of code, and then publish without compiling.

Lately I've been just redirecting these sorts of issues back to the devs if it's something significant that will require a substantive code change/fix and I don't want to add hours of learning time on top of it. (extra since they don't use comments too much)

But here's our issue: our company is a startup with a good number of clients and only 2 full time devs. I'm moving to 50/50 support/development and I have 2 support junior developers who "report" to me (I'm not a manager, but they're fairly green so I do mentoring and shit). So when we have to bounce back support tickets to the devs that's suddenly half of our dev team doing support stuff.

One of the issues of being a very small company. So I end up fielding a lot of support requests for projects I've never touched because our dev -> support flow is very sudden and we have nothing set up for knowledge transfer. And that is bad.

But hey, I'm the like 5th or 6th most senior person at our company, so that's nice.

a lot of the truth behind astrological signs"determining" personality types has to do with the parents rather than the stars or whatever. If you were born a Libra which is between 23rd of Sept and 23rd of October, you know that 38 weeks prior your parents probably conceived you, and that tells you a bit about your parents, and thus how you were raised, which helps cultivate your personality.

Though most of it is extremely vague, there are differences based on traditional family (children conceived during harvest were less likely to be born to farmers than children conceived in winter, and being raised in a farming lifestyle means you are more likely to be predisposed to patience and working hard whereas people, born in summer, are likely born to merchants giving them a certain upbringing, people born in winter are more likely born to tradesmen ect ect) that do actually apply to the timeframe in which people were born(rather, conceived).

You guys are missing the reason why SAO is great.

Wow, and you told me you hate The Irregular At Magic High School for exactly that reason

There's a difference between SAO and Irregular at Magic High.

Well I would have been conceived sometime around Thanksgiving, and my parents are in fact not farmers. Astrology confirmed.

edit: I don't recall any guns in SAO, did I miss something?
