Off-topic, but from what I understand, most of the people here have either gone through higher levels of education or are currently in higher levels of education, and my question for you is this: How do you guys stay motivated through a difficult course that you're not that interested in (but is required). I get to this point in classes where I've learned all I wanted and it's really hard to bring myself to care any more, even with the knowledge that it's important towards the rest of my education. I know this probably sounds like a dumb question where the answer is "just motivate yourself more", but if there are any tricks you guys use to power through studying, I'd like to hear them. I bought myself a shitty laptop that can't run any games so I'd study out of sheer boredom, it's working out so far. Otherwise you really just need to study with other people I feel. Makes studying less of a chore and more of a group activity with friends. | ||

But I don't think the official game will start until January because I want to run some small one-shots to get a sense for the players and stuff (and perhaps help choose who'll be in the final game). Also I need to have the time to read the DMG. BOY IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE DOESN'T WANT TO BE IN IT HUH?! | ||
