I like how they could have probably just tweaked his numbers, but instead gave him a new mechanic which grants him more options. I think the one thing I dislike about PM patches is that I have no clue what most of the changes mean until I play for a long time or see the characters in action. Off-topic, but from what I understand, most of the people here have either gone through higher levels of education or are currently in higher levels of education, and my question for you is this: How do you guys stay motivated through a difficult course that you're not that interested in (but is required). I get to this point in classes where I've learned all I wanted and it's really hard to bring myself to care any more, even with the knowledge that it's important towards the rest of my education. I know this probably sounds like a dumb question where the answer is "just motivate yourself more", but if there are any tricks you guys use to power through studying, I'd like to hear them. | ||

A big part was that we learnt things from a bunch of different topics, and it didn't come together until pretty late (especially maths; when your learn about the math theories behind compilation, until you reach some point you don't see a link between them at all), I had a lot of difficulties to stay focused and appreciate these courses before then. But when I was able to draw links between most of my courses to form a whole single domain, it brought my attention up again because I finally unterstood how all of that was important for my studies. | ||
