Doesn't work like that, mordek, you need the people bowling with you to not be the kind to give you the same looks as the highschoolers. I guess I'm too extreme in my teasing/exaggerating things but people around me just get surprised whenever you don't act "normal". D:
And that's the issue Soniv I don't have that many friends or even acquaintances in here. I think I know as many people in Paris or between northernest France+Belgium than in my town, and like half of them aren't even that close and have a bunch of friends they'd rather see first (now that it's blamable obv.). Board games enthusiasts are a couple I don't see much (she has goofy work hours because she's more or less a nurse), and that girl who moved to Holland for her studies. So... yeah. If I want friends to play board games with I need to make new friends amongst board games enthusiasts first, and the bar isn't as conducive to hit as I thought it was.
Meh I just need to go out more and learn how to befriend people out of nowhere but there's no handbook for that.

Obviously the solution here is that you guys all come to PAX south in January and we go bowling. You guys will have vacation time I know.

Probably gonna try to arrange some time next summer. This year got away from me and has been altogether crazy busy, and there's not a chance in hell I'm visiting Canada in the winter.

It's not a NHL sized zamboi that you see at hockey games but special smaller one that is made for curling rinks in order to get the ice perfect for curling. (Curling ice is a lot more special than regular ice)

IceKings are not zambonis.
Like the whole point of a zamboni is to make the ice perfectly smooth, which is exactly what you do not want for curling.
I suppose a zamboni might be used once at the start of the season when the ice goes in? Never heard of this though.
