If you remember a while back I was on a 7 loss streak. 2-3(Lost final two games), 0-3, and then 0-2. I took a week or so break from arena and then finished 9-2 lol. But yeah, just got offered mage for the first time in forever and cruising along nicely at 5-1. I think I'd actually pick pally over mage though.

That was a fun game but it's kind of dumb how every single one of Mordor's units is hard-countered by archers... Nazgul Trolls Mumaks Orcs Haradrim all get pasted, the only unit is Rhun Soldiers but to get them you need a level 2 Palace which dies in 3 seconds to a cavalry raid...
I remember multiplayer on that game was always lots of people doing Gandalf/Legolas rushes and 1v50ing your army no problem.
The global spells mechanic was pretty unique for an RTS.

RTS games are weird. I feel there's a lot of charm to playing them just messing around with your mates that gets lost when you seriously try to optimize for victory. Then there's also a lot of charm in competing so it's weird. I think I had more fun messing around in BW than I ever did being super serious in SC2.

Yesterday, I was driving down a highway with heavy, slow traffic in the two lanes to my right and nearly had a 70 mph collision when someone pulled out in front of me at a very bad time.
Drive safely, folks, that incident was the scariest thing that's happened to me in years.

I think when i played Mordor all i did was make Haradrim/Rhun soldiers lolol.
I will make more pikes, it is ridiculous that your uruks/crossbowmen just die instantly when horsemen even look at them zzz

I never pick mage. Last two arena runs have been 11-3 druid and 9-3 rogue. The rogue deck surprised me due to complete lack of card draw but good minion quality and tempo pulls through i guess.
Continuously gatekeepered by paladins though. Never see anything but past 7 wins lol.
