You think that didn't have anything to do with the way he was raised? It's not like he was born to want to be a spy, gender-oriented shows and entertainment during developmental stages are huge. Compare Power Rangers to... what the fuck do girls watch at that age? Used to be Disney stuff about love and relationships. You show that same boy Disney movies and cartoons on TV while growing up in lieu of Power Rangers or, fuck I don't know James Bond or something, and I bet he'd be fine writing about feelings. You're completely ignoring the nurture aspect that society pushes on people. This is why, a lot of times, people don't realize their gender and sexuality preferences until they're teenagers, because as a child they're almost forced into their gender roles. Suddenly they're in high school and realize they can like different things and be with different people and make their own decisions about life. Also, especially with families with both girls and boys, they watch the same shows. Although it might not be the case for every family, I doubt families are really putting on one thing for girls and another for boys, so they don't "turn their son gay" or something (lol). However my sister ended up watching romantic comedies and I ended up watching brood war. wat do? | ||
