At least the AI isn't constantly beating me anymore! Should always copy decks that are already out there to understand deck motifs. Then start with building side deck for your current decks, then you can start transitioning into building your own decks. Haven't played MtG in like 8 years, so I'm pretty fucking rusty, but that's pretty much how I remember how I learned to play and deck build. This is an awful way to learn Magic, lol. If you're playing casually, then netdecking is not going to expose you to most of the card pool. If you're interested in being serious, I don't even think constructed is the best place to start--Limited teaches you basic gameplay concepts in a controlled environment much better than the far-too-large card pool of constructed formats.
Netdecking lets you sort of understand a type of gameplay, eventually you start seeing how certain cards work out, or how card combos work. It builds from a small base of knowledge (assuming you didn't fucking take a super complex deck to copy), and works with that. Limited is probably better for learning broad game knowledge, and is cheaper on the wallet early on.

its really annoying how you only get loot for LFR once per week. Getting some tiny amount of gold is a big let down after a 20 minute boss fight.
