How are you going to tell if the people you choose to live with are assholes or not when you dont even know them? "Hi, are you an asshole? I dont want to live with an asshole!" Also telling them to STFU is all well and good but that can cause way more problems than it solves and usually just makes YOU the asshole. and being nice about it never gets people to STFU anyway. So you're basically fucked. | ||

If you move into a place/allow someone into your place that doesn't respect someones need to sleep before work, then you made the mistake, and its not their fault. some people care about that, some dont. its something you figure out before you commit to a lease or housing agreement. Living with someone you know is also potentially bad. I know when I was moving to an apartment my friend and I could have lived together but we decided we'd rather not do that in case we land up hating each other. Landed up living with my cousin who I've known since birth and he's basically a different version of myself so it worked out better that way. You can't "do research". Only way to do that is to live with the person. Asking them stuff doesn't really help as they can say one thing and do another or not even know themselves. | ||
