I have played Dungeons and Dragons a total of 1 time when I was a senior in university. It was with a bunch of dweeby freshman that pissed me off for a class I was taking cause I had already graduated and I didn't give a fuck anymore. Despite all that I had a blast. I was talking to some other Peace Corps Volunteers and they wanted to play so I told them I could DM. What's the best resource for a beginner story/character building/etc.??? My internet is limited but as of right now electricity isn't a problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated because as of right now there is too much stuff to filter through on my 100mb daily internet limit. Also, who has been following the Coup in Lesotho!!?? | ||

But because of the instability of the political climate, a renegade general, and a not fully back to work police force they won't let us go back. It's kinda stupid cause it's a small number of people who are fucking everything up for us. Seriously nothing is different in my village or even my surrounding area. But once it hit international/American news Peace Corps had to do something I suppose. [E]: The current prime minister, Tom Thabane, has been in the ministry in some position of power since 1967 when Lesotho first gained independence. He has been corrupt for years and years. Then back in 2012 he helped form a coalition government and was elected the prime minister. He told people he knew had been corrupt but he is old and just wants to fix things now. So he has been going after other corrupt officials. People got mad, he shut down parliament for 9 months and eventually a protest began to form. The prime minister controls the police, but the opposition controls the army. The army came in and stole all the weapons and some uniforms from the police. So when that happened they got us out of the country. Since then things have calmed down and the police has gone back to work and has arms and even South Africa/SADC is sending in troops just for preventive measures. But the renegade general is heavily guarded and hiding in the mountains. I am not sure when we will go back, if ever, but it's lame as fuck. Other than that, I had a bunch of stuff in pdf form on my dropbox from the beta of 5e, but I'm sure there are things you can find on the web somewhere. I had listened to a loooooooot of Rollplay before I actually started DMing - Neal is a really good DM and I learned a lot from him. edit: So when can we expected Executive Overlord JonGalt to rise to Lesotho leadership? On a more serious note - how much of a threat does Ebola pose to Lesotho? Yup. Even after not playing for quite some time, my rollouts aren't too bad, although I hit a few sticky spots on certain maps. edit 2- pun totally not intended, but awesome | ||

That was fucking gold. not really arguing feeling. i tried to explain how the champ deals his damage and what his needs were, but they were ignored because i used the word "feel" to explain his timings. Im just so exasperated at the lack of reading done of my posts when people try to argue with me. its a joke. every time i post there it feels like people just control F my posts for specific words and use those words to tell me im dumb or stupid. lol and i keep going back like i keep trying to queue thinking "maybe this time it won't lag or dc". i guess i am dumb or stupid, but not in the way they want me to be. lol | ||
