I'm reading a book, Quiet, which has been interesting. It certainly has something to do with it. And I've had this discussion with many of my friends before. I am perfectly happy sitting in my apartment just doing my own thing and not seeing anyone else for long spans of time. Some friends find that insane lol. Related - who here has taken the Myers-Briggs test? I'm INTJ
INTJ errywhere we all intj i bet

Before someone gets on my case about that my usual results are ESTP but like I said they're almost all very close.

That's probably true actually.
I would love for my family members to take it and see the array I would get (5 siblings, 2 parents, 2 brothers in law)

i did that test a really long time ago
cant even remember result or what it meant it was prolly really average tho
I do know that I'm a phlegmatic by the aristoteles personality thing, which means introverted-stable.

If you spend enough time ona videogame to warrant hanging out in one of it's off-topic tangent threads, you're probably INTJ.

did it with 8 other siblings, 1 other INTJ but 50:50 with INTP I think, was a surprisingly broad range. (I think 6:3 I:E ratio tho, biggest difference maybe 5:4 tho)

INFP
I really like progressive house, bu clubbing is hard. You either don't pay too much for a crappy club, or you drop enough money for a month's groceries for a nicer one.

Siblings generally have pretty different personalities from each other. Even (identical) twins.
Although they tend to like and dislike rather similar things.

BACK ON TOPIC Someone just showed me that apparently there is a keyring pokemon.
Is it safe to say we have jumped some sort of shark here?

Dude, there was an ice cream pokemon in the last gen. I think we've gone way past "jumped the shark" at this point. Although I've enjoyed most of the pokemon I've encountered thus far in Gen 6

Everyone who claims that "Pokemon designs were better in Gen 'X'" are only wearing nostalgia goggles. Nothing has gotten more ridiculous or somehow worse. If anything the goods are better and the sillies are the same.

I have, but it's been a while. I don't remember the results, but I remember I had like 50:50 E/I.

Yes. My cats are named Dale and Diane. My gf and I like to pick Diane up and talk at her without expecting a response.

LOL Just scored INTJ... I think I'm a little different than I was in college. Some of the questions are hard to answer. Of course the test is limited in what it can say, there's just so many other factors.
Anyone read Understanding Poverty? Another insightful book.

I find there is a strong correlation between those things. I just hate people, and I've been horrible turned off of huge groups of loud, drunk party-goers due to college. I much prefer hanging out drinking with small groups of friends. I can also say i prefer to join my friends for a drink and chat on any given saturday. which is what i usually do. and my average evening is spent reading and playing games hue. I also spent 5 years in uni hating the bros downtown trying to pick fights, but im a fan of loud drunk party-goers. I still enjoy clubs now that im a better dancer /more confident and im able to afford going to the clubs the angry bros can't offord to go to. Plus im going with a date so there is no pressure and we pre-drink and just enjoy dancing (id probably still like it without this tho). We only go for 2-3hrs at the end of the night. There are few things i enjoy more while intoxicated than a good dance party. I think im going to be MC hammer for halloween as the perfect excuse. better start practicing.

Extravert(56%) iNtuitive(12%) Feeling(12%) Judging(1%)
The feeling part is pretty weird because I consider myself hyper-rational. A one of a kind Homo econs that every rational actor theorist wishes was the only being to live so their shitty finance models can actually work out for once

the fact that we can say BACK ON TOPIC in the Off-Topic Thread is mildly amusing
