To be fair, FF games have terrible stories. They just hit a lot of folks at the right age, a-la early Blizz.

Blizzard used to make games with awesome gameplay. Kerrigan was awesome though.
all the FTL talk made me want to play again made it to the mothership without losing a crewmember, but forgot about one little detail namely, you have to kill the mothership with hull damage see, the problem is I had ion 2, heavy ion, ion bomb, heal bomb, defense 2 and repair drone and I killed everything by boarding I was forced to board the ship, kill systems for 1 point of damage each, and wait for the crew to repair them so I could repeat the process. Three crewmembers bravely gave their lives, first Elizabeth, then Rockwell, then noble Captain Lysos (who also achieved most evasions piloted in the process, with 288).
