Official start is: "The event kicks off on Wednesday, July 30 at 10:00 AM PDT (GMT-7) and runs until the same time on Monday, August 4." I know they added more servers for this event, but even then I'd expect them to have problems considering how much bigger this second event seems to be. So, some hours after 10am PDT is probably your best bet to get playing(as in, servers will probably be good by the time a normal person comes home from work) | ||

Well after 20 applications its difficult to say i haven't been. :/ i've known i've be laid off at the end of the month and spent a good portion of my free time job searching, but no where near is hiring a full time position for someone with my job history, and the part time jobs that i could be hired for specifically told me they won't hire me if i have another job. i have savings, but shit man its really not what i want to be doing. | ||

I don't have my BA yet nor am i currently in school due to lack of cash, so having to dig into my savings i plan on using to finish school to pay a couple months rent while i look for another job just sets me back all over again. | ||

Sentences. well they are spoiled for choice for employees because its next to the university, which has 60k students. and a high school is nearby. so they get a lot of applications. there are a bunch of the chain nearby but they are all much further away for me. for what i'm applying for: applied for cashier positions at wal mart, CVS, Wal greens, a bakery assistant position at publix (my prior job at a different bakery), 3-4 data entry jobs, a bookkeeping position because i have quickbooks experience, a stock room position at a book store nearby, bussing tables at a nearby sports bar, applied to work at pretty much every location on campus, but none there are willing to take people with jobs or hire full time. T_T. I'm not qualified due to lack of BA to work at Siemens which is hiring like 30 positions. | ||

Its not a bullshit degree because its catered to exactly what i want to do with my life. but 4 years of college is a common requirement for a lot of jobs. especially in major offices like siemens. | ||
