edit: also, I'm considering Nuzlocking, but idk if I have the balls.
DO IT
I want to too, but my friend is writing a story along with his, which is what I wanna do, except I'm busy writing fucktons for my blog and our tabletop campaign.
If I do, I probably won't write anything formal. Will prob just update in here.
I will be devastated if my froggie dies...
We should have a TL LoL Nuzlocke thread where we log our journeys.
I always make them harder on myself because I feel the need to have an evenly leveled team and spend hours grinding rather than just having ~3-4 with me that are "battle ready" and to level.
I'm the same way. If I logged a Nuzlocke I'd probably blog it myself.
Pokebank isn't even going to be up until December. How long do you think it takes me to beat the game if I'm not Nuzlocking? I DON'T HAVE THAT TYPE OF PATIENCE MAN.
Also the fact that this exists makes me unreasonably happy as a Water type fan

I tend to listen to random game music, often Touhou stuff on youtube (Morrigan arranges ftw) when not the playlist and then sometimes Blue Oyster Cult, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and others once in awhile. Depends what you mean by modern/popular really. Is popular what's on the radio now, or are bands like Queen qualifying?
And screw trucks passing right undder my window while I listen to Woodkid. >>
There are certainly lesser known bands I really like.
Nightwish Sonata Arctica Walk off the Earth (while one of their songs is on the radio, I discovered them about a year ago. Their covers and original album are really good) Tonight Alive Sleeping with Sirens Pierce the Veil Danger Radio Fantomenk I Fight Dragons
Falling in Reverse Escape the Fate Chiodos A Will Away (shameless plug for my brother's band - yes they're on Spofity, check them out) Innerpartysystem Mutemath Bloc Party (I've mentioned them before) Flyleaf AWOLNATION (not so unheard of, but their less popular songs are great) Childish Gambino
I've actually got a handful of good christian rock bands on my Zune. Project 86, Thousand Foot Krutch, Demon Hunter, Falling Up, Blindside, RED, all pretty good.
Listen to Devin Townsend formerly of Strapping Young Lad, most of his newer stuff is not exactly metal - but it does have alot of great influence. One of my favorites - Kingdom. Earth Day
