In unrelated news, I get to see my sister for the first time since she left for college in Syracuse today. She's in town to visit family/deal with my brother situation since I refuse to do so unless he gets some kind of psychiatric help (he refuses). Other than that what's up TL thread? Not too much of a fan Ketara. I mean, I think I'm starting to get why I don't overly like these bands in general: it's not that I dislike them, it's just that when I like their instrumentations I tend to find the singing covers them too much (so I'll prefer instrumental music), and when it's already strong/"noisy" to begin with I don't feel the variations in "tone" and intensity as much (hence why I'll prefer folk or orchestral or stuff, it's the same with touhou where I shy away from almost anything metal/techno/electronic related... apart from most of it being pretty shit I mean). In this case I'm not a fan of the chorus, I usually like it when it does its job of "acompanying" the music well but its... voice? (I'm not sure how to express it since it's several people and not one) doesn't appeal to me in that case. I like Iron Maiden's chorus parts more for example, and it's entirely due to the voices. | ||
