so i don't know if any of yalls have checked out some of the stranger rulesets on Pokemon Showdown! but there's a really interesting one called Glitchmons. the big difference is that most gen 3 or previous mons can learn any move they want. This is due to a glitch in early Japan versions of gen IV where you could permanently learn any moves you wanted via Transform (or Mimicking Transform, or Metronoming Transform, etc). So, yeah, any mon that could learn mimic, transform, metronome, etc. could learn any move it wanted to, including gen 5 moves thanks to sketch. The most dangerous poke in this format is Ursaring, thanks to huge Atk, and Guts-boosted STAB Extremespeed and V-create. Flame Orb to activate Guts also blocks the gajillions of spores flying around everywhere. Shell Smash Groudon is another popular dude. There's a lot of room for creativity though. I've won a lot of matches with my secret weapon, Heart Swap Honchkrow. Nothing says "dunk'd" like stealing all 3 of their shell smash boosts and sweeping. Oh and Trick Room Sheer Cold Machamp is the dicks.

I mean, really, don't watch. It's basically Salty Bets, with no money but silly plot and drama and absurd references instead. So it's not that interesting unless you've got friends to trash talk about your respectives favourites watching with you. But with Worlds at 5 AM for me I've got the right to have something to watch at decent hours too. :[ Grunty ftw. (Edit: especially when she wins by superplexing Rydia outside the ring followed by a clothesline. <3)

I actually probably do that more than the stat grinding itself.

This job is good. It is pretty tiny. They had a viewing party for Fnatic vs Royal, and I went. Been there quite a few times. They also tend to show up at Wash U now and then when the computer science club (or whatever it is- I don't even know) invites them to have QA sessions or they host a tourney.
