Mango got counter picked on the last stage, Sethlon wanted a bigger stage for roy so he could throw game to high percent and then just get him to death% and end the game in one hit. With Fox being one of those spacy characters, falling at a consistant speed, it's really easy to get a chain throw off unless you DI flawlessly. Get fox to 60+% = Dead to one Ftilt or Fsmash or BAir. After Sethlon got a 3 stock lead mango was like, yea its gg. Can't win from here no matter how good I go off. | ||

I have no idea ANYTHING about professional Smash in the one game I have played "extensively" (Melee), much less one I've NEVER played (P:M). Damn cool to watch though. Edit: Also, throwing my hat in the ring for HotS Alpha (got one a couple days ago) | ||

Kinda, Roy is probably just way better than Ike. Ike is much faster but his heaviness makes him really really awkward feeling to me. Marth's "Sweet Spot" is at the end of the sword (tippers ect), where as Roy's "Sweet Spot" is at the base of the sword, or bottom half of the hitbox. The major difference between Marth and Roy in Melee was that Roy's attacks would pretty much always send you out, where as Marth's often pop you up, or being you in allowing for combos. In P:M this weakness was "Eliminated" so it's less likely to be a factor allowing for Roy to be a slightly heavier, harder hitting Marth. Shitty recovery is what really kills Roy, 2 side b's and an up b that lingers for days are all you have. Get him off stage far enough and it's next to impossible for you to do anything to get back. | ||

I'm not sure what P:M fighters are like, but Melee was riddled with clones where one would be faster but weaker and the other would be slower but stronger. There are a few other differences depending on the topic, but it was the general rule. In Melee, Roy was the slow stronger Marth. | ||
