Man I have the opposite experience. Real life people that I know who play league are all at least gold division, usually platinum. It's like:
Me: "So do you play League?"
Them: "Yeah but I'm not very good"
Me: "What division are you in?"
Them: "I'm ONLY in Platinum, but I want to make it to Diamond before the end of the season"
Me: -_-
The worse were the Starcraft players though. All of the real life people that I knew were like Triple Master League with one hand or something like that.
I guess the take away from this is that I'm the Bronze 4 real life scrub haha.

Then one day I guess my door was open and I was either watching BW or playing SC2, one of them walked by and asked if I played StarCraft. I said yeah I watch BW and play tons of SC2. He walked out and never talked to me again.
