Eh, bowling is about the same as playing darts or anything at a bar while discussing. Doesn't matter whose turn it is, just talk with people, and at some point somebody's gonna speak louder when you haven't heard "Req, it's your turn!" the three previous times. You let that happen once or twice and use it to check who's going before you, and you keep them in the corner of your eye to know when you're about to go up, then stop caring about the bowling for the rest of the evening.

There's Crystal B (totally overpowered), Crystal A, Engi A (debatable) and then maybe Mantis B if you get lucky with early crew pickups. There's no way you were stuck on Zoltan B for longer than some of the trash ships like Engi B or Rock. I liked both the mantis ships though mantis B had a rockier start in favor of an absolutely crushing crew game. I had less trouble with the fed cruisers. The rock ships were weird but not awful. Engi B *was* one of the ships I got a little down about. My ship high scores list goes Crystal B, Fed B, Rock A, Mantis A, Slug A, though I wouldn't necessarily say they're the best (except for crystal B of course) but they were in my experience more playable. As for Rock cruiser B I beat the game with it on my first try. So, yeah, I didn't get stuck on that. Now, the caveat is that after the beating the game with a ship I didn't return to it afterwards, by the time I had finished every ship/variant I was burned out (zoltan B did *not* help). So if some crazy people have been continuing to play the game like Northernlion still plays Binding of Isaac I suppose their opinions probably have more value. I'll probably revisit every ship/variant as I try to beat hard mode but while that may change my opinion it certainly can't change what happened to me with Z-B.

I'm also introverted, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the occasional outing. Introversion more means that you recharge by being by yourself, while extroverts recharge by being with people. There's a difference between anti-social and introverted.

I also dislike socializing but company outings are ok because free food and elbow rubbing with the boss.

I've actually never heard of hating bowling before now. I'd like to know what the reasons are if you know what they are(don't know who Alzadar is). It doesn't seem like a sport where you can really do much wrong. Then again, that can really be said for any sport.

Alzadar just posted a few times on the apparent atrocity that is bowling a page or two ago lol I apologize if I overstepped anywhere, not trying to profile people, this is stuff I think about frequently. I would also bet $100 Req's an introvert regardless but w/e ![]()

I would wager Req would rather... read a book, watch a tv show, play a game, paint figurines etc. Interacting with people that aren't in your small circle as an introvert is a lot of work. You have to do it every day anyways so the work outing it just another thing when maybe he's ready to recharge? I can be crazy and funny when I'm with 4 of my closer buddies. Work outing, I sit next to the one or two other people I feel comfortable with. I can make small talk about I don't want to. I'd rather... play my DS :O Alzadar just posted a few times on the apparent atrocity that is bowling a page or two ago lol Yeah, I was being a bit too critical. I prefered not socializing in work environments a few months ago, but I've gotten more comfortable with it now that I know people in the office (there's a lot of people in this office too). It also helps that my company usually provides booze.

I was just pointing out that in this case, he actually mentioned hating bowling more so than the work event. I do think a lot of us are probably introverts.
