Yeah, I love Zelda, but most people on Smashboards agrees she's not that high of a tier. I played in a small tournament a couple weekends ago at Ohio State and took second, but the guy that won was on a whole other level than everyone else. He was the only one that Wavedashed consistently and what not. He didn't drop a single game, it was rough haha.

Good combos, decent priority arials, UpB kills most character (Not bowser/Ganon) from 75% without proper DI, your ledge guard is incredible with how many projectiles you have, and you are a Heavier medium character. You're only real down side is that your dash dance is crap, and your recover is even worse.
So long as you know how to Flow Chart people like you can Ryu from SSF4, you should be able to play Link to a decent level.

They are still good because they are their exact iterations from Melee. Falco got a slightly better ground game out of the move to P:M, but most every character in the game got QOL changes to make them as equal as possible to the A/S tiers.
