you asked for "happy" "hardcore" soniv linked a quasi-bubblegum pop song where "hardcore" was understood in a lyrical sense (the song is about suicide), not a musical sense. though, the confusion could also arrive at the band typically making "heavier" music (though by all accounts, they appear to be a rap-infused rock band, not a hardcore band) i linked the polar opposite - a song by an "easycore"/"pop punk" band that utilizes hardcore influences in the music, but the lyrics are typically more pop-focused and hook-driven ("happy"). alaric linked literally a thrash/"heavy" metal band and then when it came around to it, you wanted some sort of speed electronic - and on listening to both tracks you linked i wouldn't have called either "happy" or "hardcore" - yet in your mind, they were "happy hardcore" kinda crazy how broad musical definitions are now ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||
