Oh boy, here comes the French person going "This Disney song is better in French." I put up with that nonsense for 5.5 years.

Curse me for not having a soul but I just don't like them. Maybe it's because I was an angsty teenager during the time they came out. Also Atlantis was pretty cool imo. Really liked that one even though a lot of people don't. I liked the first Toy Story. It's not my favorite but I still quite enjoy it, but I'm not a big fan of two or three. Those had varying levels of good and bad mixed in.

And no, don't bother, it must be like 11 AM at the latest for you when I'm in front of my pc so I wouldn't be able to watch anyway, I was just trying to be cheeky "ooh, crunchy details, I want my share" and requesting it to be written too for posterity. ![]() I still want it tho! And I don't usually find Disney better in French, no (although it's way ahead of French dubbing in general; as a rule of thumb I tend to dislike/grow easily tired of Disney's stuff anyway, don't even try to suggest a sing-along in a car, I've been made sick of it by the school field trips with high-pitched giggling girls singing the same 5 ones for hours on end), but in that one case I think the VA nailed the atmosphere way better than the English one. Not to say it's bad, French version's just better.

The downsides outweigh the upsides, and the people who do it deserve a lot of praise and a healthy dose of ridicule. IMO "The downsides outweigh the upsides" is a pretty self-centered way to view children considering that without them society cannot continue and there would be no care for the elderly. I think that's a pretty huge upside right there unless you're one of those voluntary human extinction people.

Well to be fair, he's probably doing the entire human race a favor by not having a kid. hehehe.

I also think it's a fantastic show, they really did a good job with the production, the plot and the way the characters develop slowly each episode - you get a glimpse of the life as a detective and the pro's and con's :D
