DKZ vs Basilisk :0
SSLT is my upset watch of the week
|
Psistorm has a pretty decent matchup vs Abydos
But the last 2 Times I claimed that about Psistorm matches they got completely destroyed, so I try not to get my hopes up to high this time
|
Has any team gone 0-6 yet or are we still waiting for that first ignoble moment?

Mixu let that one slip right through his fingers.

ByuN with three racks reaper in game one versus Silky: 600 vs. 3606 resources lost after 6:30 minutes in favor of ByuN.

SSLT winning isn't the craziest thing, but the way they did it was shocking. Silky beat Byun in a macro game to get the 1-1.

yah, Silky getting the 1-1 and SSLT getting the full three points was NOT the kind of upset I was talking about

Silky's win against ByuN was especially impressive after that loss to mass reapers in game one.

Does anyone know why BreakingGG forfeited against Elazer?

He has a real world job - a singer at a local bar that could not let him play at scheduled time. He contacted organizer and opponent and tried to rearrange time, but due to time zone and also he contacted them a little bit late, they could not find another time that both players are available, so he has to forfeited.
|
Unfortunate for BreakingGG and Invictus Gaming if that is what happened.

This match did not disappoint.

Shocked that we didn't get Dark vs Serral for the ace match.
Edit: Yeah, hero vs Serral feels slightly Serral favored and Dark vs Serral feels like it's at worst 50-50 (probably Dark favored)

Beast performance from Serral.
Take away more of Reynor's WTL rating points and give them to Serral
|
|
Should let Dark to fight for ace race.
|
herO PvZ hasnt been amazing lately, so I am surprised they send him out instead of Dark. Would be very interesting to see this match again in the playoff format.
|
Serral making a good case for being MVP this week again, and Basilisk looking very strong overall. I know Onsyde has had really easy matchups, but they're looking strong too. It'll be fun if they both keep crushing and have a final round play-off for first/second seed.
|
PsiStorm is nose-diving hard this season, the lack of a solid No.2 player is hurting them so much. They are looking like Team Liquid with Clem from 2-3 seasons ago.

After a few rounds we are going to see serral at 100 and reynor in the mid 70s
|
Hell yeah. I like how WTL has become a reliable source of the weekly dose of Serral domination.
That said, I also do not understand why DKZ did not send Dark for the ace match. Combining Darkesque chaos with the ordinary measure of ZvZ chaos seems like the best if not only promising shot at bringing down Serral right now.
