As much as I love Starcraft I am truly impressed by how singularly dedicated players can be to it, but too much tunnel vision might be detrimental, or there’s a diminishing return put in to the hours pumped in.
I mean TY had a god tier year while taking up a casting gig, so maybe dabbling in BW will have a similar effect. I wouldn’t rule out him trying BW again seriously either, but I don’t think it’ll hammer his SC2 prospects much if he does wanna unwind in a different, and more popular game in Korea.

It's not done for the year though. ST2 is played in early december.

I really don't know who puts in most hours, but all gamers are not alike. I am pretty convinced the best way to be good is to turn your life into SC2 in a team house, with competent people taking care of you and making sure you get breaks when you need them.
Heromarine would almost certainly be a better tournament player if he didn't spend so much time streaming.

true but Neeb's defense has been a brick wall vs Terrans, he defended perfectly vs Clem and so far he has done well against TY
