Clem was too impatient to get rid of Maru's tanks and lost! It's also true that Maru has not been losing TvT games that don't end pretty quickly.

Amazing series. It's crazy that Maru has become the old-timer now. I remember he was like the youngest player to ever play in a GSL (I think he was like 13 years old back in 2010)

Maybe starcraft would have been better if there were only T ^^ No racial balance problems, just high-speed chess

TvT has always been one of the matchups where positioning and strategy can win over sheer mechanics. That's why "older" players like Ryung, aLive, and Gumiho could still go even agaisnt INno, TY, or Maru. Long after they had fallen behind in the other two matchups compared to them. Also why TY is so damn good compared to Maru or INno even though they are historically better mechanically.

Think thats also the reason thats the reason clems TvT always has been behind his other matchups. Ofc experience is important in TvT especially. But Clem cant just out multitask his opponents that easily especially if they play more defensively. Will be interesting to see how clem will matchup against the other eu terrans next year as he has dropped quite a lot of series against guys like uThermal and Gabe, seems his TvT has been improved and should be more consistent there.
