The thing that I can't stand at all is the(relatively unexpressed) idea behind this, which is that the koreans would have inevitably won every game if they were not playing during the night/without lag/if they were trying/insert any possible excuse.

ASUS ROG's bo5 groups are evidently not suited to an online tournament while TSL is going too start objectively late in the day, that's true.
Considering that the western audience is prevalent, there would always be a chance that they would end very late for koreans but they could surely be scheduled differently; koreans are also much more used to play during the night as they have been occasionally doing it since the dawn of Sc2. In any of case, as uncomfortable as it can be, knowing the schedule in advance allows you to adapt.

Thus said, ASUS ROG starts at a very decent hour so they should have just gone for bo3 matches or played the event in five days, one group each.

It's okay. And that's meant as a huge compliment. There are casters with a "larger" personality, but Wardi is just pleasant to listen to. He narrates the game well, doesn't go for early calls too often and sticks to his strengths. He also can team up with basically anybody. And he's putting in mad hours.
Still, I think it's a bit harsh to let him cast for 10 hours straight, even though he has done it before. Was there given a reason why Rotti/Demu only were hosting at the studio?

I think Rotti/Demu casted 2 series and Wardi solo-casted 8. Not sure why it was split that way if they went through the trouble of flying 2 people in.

I feel like something unexpected happened with the planned cocaster so they went with wardi only for day1. Lambo is obviously really knowledgeable about the game so I hope we get him for sunday aswell!
