I thought it was more frustrating than anything else. Watching Scarlett refuse to make an Overseer against Tunneling Claws Widow Mines, and try and transition into Hydralisks which lacked any upgrades while TY just took over the map.
All Scarlett had going for her was her runbys which honestly didn't mean much because of how far ahead he was the entire game in army supply.

I only just noticed it, that photo of Special in the intermission is quite well-taken. I think the Terrans got a better photographer, their poses work better.

I don't really think so. Ty had very few SCV's on a two base mining economy for quite a while in the game. Scarlett only lost toward the end when she took some bad fights and let TY macro a little too easily behind it.

I really hate the swap mechanic as well and if TY didnt have the swap SpeCial wouldn't have been available for Scarlett to chose. SpeCial was only left unpicked becuase players feared TYs swap.

Well, I believe when them mines happened Scarlett was pretty starved on gas. I am at work so maybe I missed some stuff.

Sort of. He only had 11 SCV's and Scarlett had like 40-50 drones or so for quite a while. She wasn't really that far behind.
The linchpin of her loss was just several bad fights with some unfortunate widow mine hits and a correlated harass

yeah probably. It indeed affects player picks so it's hard to gauge. I have already said that I agree the swap shouldn't be a thing.

I missed the game and have just rewound on youtube. The game is over when TY has 9 workers and they are even in overall supply. Scarlett can't do anything about TY mass expanding while running circles around her.

They ve never realy tried to point out how early- (mid-) game advantages translate into mid (late-) game and always make it seem like both players are even until one is super dead.
Wich is good in terms of excitement but often times leads some more casual viewers to just blame balance, when in reality the losing player was slacking behind from the beginning, because of bad opener/ build order counter/ early damage/ whatever

Yeah but that one struggles vs roach all-in builds (rax CC fact CC actually just dies).
The best best build vs 2h muta is CC rax CC rax fact starport (3cc 211).
Regular 211 is still a massive BO advantage since it takes away all advantages and timing windows 2h muta has over a Terran.
