But basically yeah none of DRG / SpeCial / Scarlett would have been considered top 1-8 in this ro16 yet one is guaranteed to get in the top 8. I understand how this can annoy some. | ||

But yeah, there is no reason to have the swap other than group nomination hilarity. It makes ro16 Group A always really underwhelming since it's a freebie for the champion, aside of guaranteeing one of the 3 or 4 worst players in the ro16 to make ro8. | ||

I don't think the 2 base spire build is that good against the early stim/2nd rax build. It's mostly effective against hellion-based greedy macro builds like the classic 3cc reactor hellions opener. | ||
