The masks does help prevent you from spreading none airborne sicknesses if you yourself is sick but they are as you say pretty useless you if wear it to try and stay healthy. Also completely useless against airborn stuff like Corona. Its crazy Patience defeated Zoun 2-0 then Zoun goes on to rip all other protoss to shreds. 2-0 Super, 2-0 Creator, 2-0 Mana....
