Today the Starcraft 2 gods and Santa schemed to play musical chairs with us and introduced new players into Group A! We had Solar, Vindicta, Cure and sOs play instead with Solar showing his class to emerge top of the group despite the disruptions.

They were also occasionally calling the opponent 'her' and sometimes swapping the names of the players. But yeah it was rather distracting at the very least.

Apparently TY legitimately thinks or at the very least is considering the possibility that the medivac upgrade is worth getting in the late game (sorta like how Protosses get DT blink in the late game). Maybe Blizzard has finally created a medivac upgrade that's not utterly worthless.

I think making the upgrade more accessible by not having it on a tech lab anymore was a really good move. Surprisingly good even. Because just the fact that you no longer have to go an extra mile to get this makes it so much better. After it was put on the Fusion Core I've seen this upgrade used more competitively (in particular by Cure, Cure has at times researched it before lib range) in 2 months than any medivac upgrade before.

That isn't saying much given that the 'competition' is Caduceus "I was faking Cloak and forgot to cancel" Reactor, and High Capacity "Kelazhur really liked this upgrade for a month" Fuel Tanks.
But yeah it would be nice if it found its role (even a niche role) in the game.
Tune in for the Playoffs tomorrow with sOs v TY for the first semi finals and Impact v Zest for the 2nd. Bo5 each with the grand finals (B07) immediately after!
You know, sOs' play may not have been creative so far, but he could end up winning the whole thing. TY vs sOs matches are always a clown show after all.
So TY died to a roach rush, then died to another roach rush, then lost to a roach/hydra/viper timing and then took big damage from a 1/1 roach/ravager timing.
