Actually I once did and I stand by it, or at least change it dramatically like they did the Swarmhost, just balance the game without it, it's a boring unit.

As the world's top connoisseur of BL-infestor, I have to tell you what's happening right now is quite different from WoL.
The worst thing about WoL era BL-infestor wasn't that it let top-tier players close out games with ease. Old BL-Infestor was a problem because it was a relatively easy to use strat that raised the floor for otherwise undistinguished players. Players like Lowely and Ziktomini placing several rounds higher than their previous level was the MAIN problem, not that Stephano or Leenock were oppressively strong in the late-game.
Serral's use of BL-infestor right now is more akin to Maru's abuse of Raven-turtling in 2018—it's disgustingly strong in the right hands, but it's not OVERLY distorting SC2 competition by boosting the results of other, less capable players.

I'll repeat it once more: next week infestors are getting nerfed, warp prisms and recall are getting nerfed, Terran are receiving buffs. Quit whining, please.

This is a concern I have, and it's why I'm glad they haven't yolo'd nerfs onto the infestor again, and just gone with the IT nerf for now. I know many players want them basically deleted, but just losing to mass carrier storm archon just marching across the map once +3 air is done is also far from fun.

I know this game matters so I can understand Classic is hanging on there. But I don't see Serral ever ever ever letting go of his firm grip.

I guess this marks the death of kr sc2 (and sc2 as a whole tbh), the decay was long and weary, may it RIP.
