Flash made a ton being on the KT roster. We could argue his greatness as top 10 by earnings then lol.

Kespa salary was capped in SC2 though

Do you happen to remember what the cap was set at? I wonder what bonuses Flash got.

70 million KRW. There's a video where Flash talks about teams colluding to create this cap.

I can't even describe how wrong your statement is. Money is not the only thing that matters, TY won $200k in WESG while playing only 1 significant match (vs Maru) that amount is already greater than 5x GSL wins. Premier tournament win is the most important factor in considering GOAT, not the money.

The goal to some is to make money, to others it may be the thrill of competing, or to simply win a big tournament. Others might do it just because they enjoy the game.

And even if money was the only objective, earnings do not correlate to skill. Some of the most stacked and intense tournaments had $10K for first place. Others have had players earn $100k without playing any meaningful matches (such as Maru in the 2016 WeSG).

Take Rogue for example. I'd argue his toughest/most skilled win might have been the 2017 Super tournament 2. He won $10K from that. Meanwhile he won $430K from blizzcon+Katowice, and didn't look as good in either of them.
Zest, sOs, PartinG, Dark, and Maru are the real champs. ROOT_herO is overrated. Snute, Serral, and Scarlett are the foreigner GOATs

Every Wednesday and Saturday night at around 8pm EST (well voting close at 8 so maybe more around 9pm for the new pools)

If the pools stay as popular as this one I might go from 2 voting period a week to 3.

Well the idea is that this way people think about their choice more and get to discuss about it, the legacy of the players and the results in a way that would not happen with a wall of 30 pools.

Also I ran out of shitpost to make about Maru and Serral and that 5000 post isn't any closer.

Yeah, everything at once would be a bit too much. That being said three groups at a time seems like a bit too little. Why not increase the total to like 8 groups at once and also increase the time interval to compensate?

So the actual GOAT Zerg isn't on the list? His matchfixing has nothing to do with his wins and his legend status.

Sorry, I'm confused. I see in the wiki there will be a voting option for NaDa but not NaDa's body. Was there a mistake?

Seriously though, this is a fun idea and thanks for doing it. I definitely agree with the vote results in the three polls so far (except for the fact that not 100% of people voted for TaeJa so far >.>).

Not in, didn't get the final of any premiers tournament and his (very respectable) career isn't really worth one of the very few spots left.

Never got to the final of a premier, I initially chose him as one of the 8 wild card player but as more and more player got to mind I did a random draw and he got pushed out.
Keep in mind that including everyone who have been in the final of a premier tournament leave very few spot for some arguably better player but it was by far the easiest way to make a player list/do the ranking (trust me I try to do it by hand and it was a mess)
