There was a point in one game where, if he had 1 infestor, he could have killed 12 marauders in one blow.

It is rather amusing that Juanito is beating Snute just on pure macro and mechanics. He hasnt controlled his army well at all basically this entire series, but he's still winning.

yeah in the last 2 games he's actually traded inefficiently against snute but steamrolled with economy

Though he's getting ahead in economy through his strategies and denying bases, not mechanics.

In Starcraft, denying bases otherwise known as "map control" is such a basic strategy to the game, that i put it under the umbrella of "mechanics."

... what? I mean I'm sure the exact meaning of mechanics is debatable, but denying bases is not based on your mechanical abilities any less than microing.

I think Snute cheeses in this match. Any takers? I wager 25 push ups.

There was another point in the next game, where if there had been nydus zerglings, 2 bases could have been wiped out.

I'm actually finding it rather inspiring.

Whenever I come back from breaks from SC2 I find that my micro is ass but I can just outmacro my opponents.

I have this negative and false idea that Terran is the wrong race to do that with, but this series is proving me wrong. You CAN totally beat inferior opponents with just pure macro with the race.

And then you try it yourself and you get steamrolled by a hive rushing zerg because successfully maintaining pressure like this for so long is actually really hard.

It is nice that he is running units around and isn't simply dropping in 5 areas. Feels like it's more attainable to a normal player

I think "tactics" is the word you're looking for.

To be fair, the average Zerg at my MMR can't defend the way Snute has been.

The stream has more viewers than it ever has this tournament.

All the elitist fans who call Snute's style boring don't talk for the millions of fans around the world who appreciate his depth and sophistication

People just can't believe there's a foreign Terran from North America who can win a game vs a European Zerg.

Snute may be boring af, but at least he doesn't lose 0-3 like the country of Poland.
