These Dark vs ByuN games are going to be decided how much of an advantage ByuN can get early game and how well ByuN can hold intiative (like Blizzcon). Difference is that the patch and meta gave it to ByuN by default. He'll have to work for it here.

Yeah, against Roach-Ravager timings or all-ins I think the Tanks change might have hurt more than it helped

So I haven't watched a lot of games on it, but it seems like this patch has probably been pretty rough on Terran? Increased health and damage on the tank doesn't seem to really offset the loss of mobility with medivacs, especially against blinding cloud or corrosive bile, and lib nerf + bane buff seems to make muta/ling/bane a bit of a nightmare.

You guys have probably watched more post-patch games than me, is that what you've been seeing? I don't really know about TvP, I haven't seen much of it yet.

I guess I'll explain it. TSL Roach is just using an aggressive attack on 1 base, 2 base or 3 base against Terrans to catch them off guard. Largely propagated by the TSL team, they were used by multiple other Zergs across the time period. Notably players like Sen and Snute (and even then I used the words TSL Roach or TSL attack there).

Ravagers obviously didn't exist, but if you can't see the similarities and think overall strategies or ideas are restricted by strict unit compositions, that's your loss.

Byun is too greedy,chasing those ravagers instead of taking down that low health Dark's 3rd base.

the baneling buff seems to be really strong but I think it's to early to make conclusions on balance. tvp looks pretty fair.

only thing I absolutely detest at the moment is the burrow-fungal coinflip mechanic.
