Lol I just predicted Thorins tweets. (which btw were sarcastic). The whole "only under specific conditions does results/data" matter is so ridiculously retarded and just a clear indicaiton of bias. Lol. Pity he's being logical though Yes Showtime outplaying the GSL winner in two macro games is irrelevant and doesn't matter because foreigners always used to outplay one of the very best koreans in macro games. So let's continue to narrow down the very specific conditions under which we can "finally" proove that the skillcap has narrowed a lot. LOL. Did you understand the basic meaning behind what Thorn said? Here , let me hold your hand for you: He isn't saying the results aren't relevant. He is saying rather that this result is overhyped as this has happened several times before, and thus that this doesn't prove anything in particular.
Or perhaps keep riding the hype train and remain blissfully oblivious.

honestly, I think it's cool that experts from other progaming categories follows sc2, it means something actually

I really enjoy thorin comments and analysis overall, but sometimes he seems just not to aknowledge reality and is obtuse himself (ok, this, all the time)

I wish people would be a little restrained in saying that KR SC2 is ded or Byuns a scrub. Please, celebrate Showtime for the amazing accomplishment he made. Don't start pointing at which ladder is best. It undermines how impressive what Showtime just did!
And it was amazing. We can all agree, Showtime played lights out awesome.

If you consistently make outrageous predictions and only mention them the few times you actually are correct, you will eventually deceive someone (perhaps yourself) that you are a mastermind. that why i like to pay attention to outcomes.
Well, if you can make a detailed analysis explaining the weakness's and strenghts of certain players, then I am OK with a "surprise" prediction.
However, when most of the raw data just indicates that Nerchio and Neeb were the two best foreigners, it's most likely just a bad prediction turned "lucky".

Was that the TY picture from when GSL painted makeup on the players?

it never happened when korean had time to prepare before, some upsets in bo's in long run tournaments. But never before in groups, gsl style

Let me point out again. He doens't. He just read tweets and wants to spew out his own uninformed bias.
You think he is watching a game he doesn't like over the ESL CSGO PL semfinals.

Doesn't like the game. he is on the other hand the stereotype for the "tryhard elitistl" person who thinks he is cool because he likes BW more than Sc2. I agree with your general comment that he doesn't follow sc2 really and is trying to make foreigners worse than they are, but cmon you actually can think BW is the better game without being a hipster, let's not make ridiculous claims

Thoorin is saying massive bullshit, because in the past only one or two foreigners could hope beating koreans, even in bo3, so having that many foreigners beating koreans easily? But he was the guy who thought fnatic had bad off season, just before they went on to lose 2-3 to SKT and then 18-0 their split, not the brightest analyst.

thorin can suck a dick for all I care. If he is gay, he can eat a pussy.
foreigners are getting better. we can see it. sure this isn't bo5 or bo7, but its still evident foreigners can stand next to the koreans.

Lol at all the people who think Thorin has an 'awful' personality. This man is unquestionably one of the most intelligent, funniest, productive, and hardworking guys in any esport.
