You make it sound like Stats was on fully flowing 6 gas economy the whole time. Anything Stats does, Myungsik can counter with his standing army and tech he has. Blink stalkers? Immortal/adept wins. Phoenixes? Not enough on the ground, and Myungsik can just keep making phoenixes with the air control he already has. You're saying he should have made a stalker/phoenix army, but that would have been a horrible choice here. And there wasn't enough money for stalkers, phoenixes, immortals AND adepts. Which is what he'd have needed here. Stats' best shot would have been to skip immortal production in favor of an almost pure adept/archon army and hope he can win with numbers. Phoenixes would be useless in that fight at least, and archons can tank a disruptor hit, as well as micro out of it much better. You said earlier you'd want a blink stalker, immortal, archon, phoenix army, so let's do the math. 50 gas per stalker, 150 for blink, 100 for resonating glaives, 150 for the dark shrine, 100 gas for each immortal, 100 gas for each phoenix. Keep in mind he'd have to have more than 3 phoenixes, otherwise Myungsik just has air control even without producing more phoenixes himself. That's 400 gas at least. Stalkers are useless in low numbers, so let's say instead of 10 adepts, he makes 10 stalkers. That's 500 gas. Now how many archons and immortals would you like in that army? It's at least 250 gas for one archon.
This isn't even counting the extremely high mineral cost of that army. Seriously, you're talking about something that's almost a 4 base army.
