A lot of players are scared of Zest, a bunch of people say TY is the best Terran. TY says he's never lost in practice against another Terran as much as against GuMiho

You want TL writers to embarrass themselves more
I like it

TY wants nothing to do with Protoss and the only Zerg left was Rogue who he's good friends with.

practicing with Zest and Stats has made him scared of protoss.

Yeah he made his group like 9 times harder and you love it.
haha no, I love it because Zest simply did what he wanted and didn't play the Im a nice guy card. And tbh TY shouldn't worry much about Rogue, after all Rogue fears him

I think we've all seen enough GSLs to know that everything these guys say about "fearing player X" during the group selections is a pile of crap.

I don't think so this time, all the "fears" I heard made sense...

Pretty sure Classic has been underrated by fans in every tournament he has won. I wouldn't want a multi-champion in my group either.
he looked like a B teamer in his SSL group
But then you look at his point totals in LOTV and it's far from ridiculous. He qualified for both leagues in both seasons and is still in the competition in both leagues this season. Is this pure luck?
Honestly the TaeJa switch doesn't seem that great. Odds are he won't play TaeJa in the group stage at all. Maybe he should have tinkered with Group B to make sure he gets an easier Ro8 opponent instead

yes, classic is a mediocre player and always was. Until he has 100% winrate in all matchups he will always be an average player.

Zest and herO are friends, so it "guarantees" they won't have to face each other in elimination at least

More important to try get out of your RO16 group first imo. This way he'll get to play vs Taeja/Ryung over herO/Rogue if he falls to losers match.
He could easily lose to Rogue or herO, far less likely the Terrans.

There's a good chance Zest advances in first now. But everyone in Group B is on a similar level to herO and Rogue. So aiming for the top is harder now.
Oh yeah btw Cure wanted a good group so he could go home and practice for tomorrow in a good mindset. How'd that work out for him?

It could be Cure or Byun, that 'd be sweet for Zest. Even if it's either sOs or Dark those are preferred over Rogue.

the motivation to crush Dark will make him practice twice as hard

I'd imagine ByuN will choke again because that's how he rolls. And I've come to only expect the weirdest things from Cure so atm I could totally see him get 1st place to spite everyone.

For the record: Dark switched Trust into his SSL group forcing a teamkill between Trust and Zest. Zest was pretty pissed that he had to eliminate his teammate.
Jesus.. these groups are so stacked. I am so stoked for the top 16! Group A definitely seems the easiest... which is definitely saying something since Zest is in group A.
By the way I'd like to point out something. Dark has made 7 Ro16 group stage appearances in Korean leagues. There was a teamkill in 5 of them. 3 of which were SKT team kills. His Ro16 match for his SSL championship run was also a teamkill. I can't believe Cure thought Dark wouldn't pick a Jin Air player, or that any of the Jin Air players thought Dark would care if Classic got put in his group.

Didn't Dark pick Dream in a recent group selection?

Dream picked Dark because the only other choice was TY
A 1. herO 2. TaeJa (this whole bullshit of effort vs skill... i don't buy it... TaeJa said he would practice his heart out for his fans and I feel he'll find a way to make it happen)
and YES I think Zest will go out here
B 1. ByuN (heart too strong for the mind to overcome) 2. Dark
C 1. ByuL (he's improving at a rate that's insane... he almost had maru at SPL and he only gets better) 2. Maru
D 1. Gumiho (I bet he's pissed about SSL, he's not letting his guard down no more) 2. Classic
KTs been my favorite team for too long now... they need that fourth player... that Flash replacement soon... I hope its ByuN for both of them's sake...
The point iz.... I think TY and Zest both figured out the meta and got into it like faster than the others.... the others are catching up fast, and Zest and TY both looked extremely vulnerable at the game they fight for most back in China...

This raises a good point. Zest is not very nice...trying to take out Ryungjwa and TaeJa...I guess he's trying to let him take that vacation with TaeJa early.

I could possibly agree if Zest didn't have two terrans in his group. Dude is still insane vs Terran.
