I honestly think Dark received way too little praise for his multitasking and micro well from Artosis and Tasteless. He responded so well over and over. Very very high level play from both players, and it was just a completely different level of quality from the Sorry vs Seed series where both players demonstrated some of the worst mechanics/positioning I've seen from Koreans in a while.
I think that was the doom of INno : I suppose he beats every zergswith this style, just by brute force and multitask, but Dark is not the guy you can outplay so easily, his defense on game 5 was just brilliant.

Innovation could have won though had he not clumped up his army vs Fungal Growths. I don't really think there is a different way to play the matchup than "brute force". You need to win/get a lot ahead before Ultras w/ ups.

Or not. Hey at least he didn't lose to a coach this time.
if his opponent is another zerg, he probably has won, this matchup is as disgusting as maru/zest last season

To be honest Inno was playing superbly and was building a very advantageous position, but he just wanted too much to finish the game and he brute force too many time in tiny chokes against ravager+ infestor and lost way too much. I'd say that you give to TY the 3 base vs 3 base setup Innovation had build, out of 100 game he would win every single game.

These are not the results I was expecting... 3/3 Liquibets for once tonight! HerO beat out Pet in a god awful series. Sorry got up 2-0 and choked like a boss. Both could have gone either way.
thank god at least the advanced player is Hero, if Pet advanced and Inno out, I dont think I can understand this game anymore.

in that case, if a player stay in both ssl and gsl, then how can he survive through those 7,8 hours long and intensity matchups, two times?:-(

Don't worry, next code A session we get Armani vs departure, where the loser gets solace in knowing they placed in the same rank as Innovation

God damn it Bogus -. -
could've gone 3/3 if he would've killed the ultra cavern in g5 instead of targeting queens. He would've taken out chit plating and probably won the game.

Tried to make a thread on reddit about it but all I got was "Life could do it too" and downvotes.

He also tried to attack Dark in a choke against Ultra/infestor/ravager army when he was one base up if i remember correctly. He played well but made some stupid mistakes in G5.

I mean, can you name a Zerg outside of Dark who can defeat good Terrans?

you realize you're saying he could have won if he had not clumped his units and then you say that ultras can be beaten? make up your mind, bro.
anyway, it's the widow mine usage vs Dark's comp that annoy me the most. with his mechanics INno could use tankivacs so beautifully against roach ravagers...

Well, if Inno went from 0-2 against ragnarok to now 2-3 against Dark, I can only think he's finally getting better at LotV

Rogue did okay against Terrans since the TING Open but he got 2-0'd by some Chinese player a few weeks ago so Idk about him.
So yeah I think in ZvT Dark is probably the only Zerg worth anything in Korea.

Or not. Hey at least he didn't lose to a coach this time. Losing 3-2 to the best Zerg in the world is still top tier material.. Doesn't put him anywhere near up there with Zest, Maru this year though. Taking two maps off of Dark is great and all but he hasn't made Code S and didn't make a dent in one SSL he qualified for. Need results to be considered among the best and Inno doesn't have them this year. Yet I wouldn't suprised if inno won against both of them somewhere
